Delete your RunDesk account
You can ask for your RunDesk login and the personal details RunDesk keeps about you as a user to be deleted at any time.
In the app (quickest)
- Open RunDesk and sign in.
- Tap the RunDesk button at the bottom right of the screen.
- Tap Delete my RunDesk login…
- Read what happens, then tap Send request and sign out.
Your request goes straight to your company's RunDesk admin, and you're signed out on that device. The admin removes your login; after that you can't sign in with that email.
If you can't sign in
Ask your company's RunDesk admin to remove your login in Office › Users, or contact your company's RunDesk admin (usually the owner or office manager), or RunDesk itself through the person who set up your company's RunDesk account. Tell us your name, your company and the email you signed in with. We'll check who you are before deleting anything.
What gets deleted
- Your RunDesk login (sign-in email and password) — removed from your company straight away by the admin, and the sign-in account itself deleted within 30 days of your request.
- Your staff profile details on request (for example phone number and app access), and any private RunDesk mailbox set up for you.
- The copy of RunDesk data on your phone, when you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
What's kept, and why
- Business records stay with your employer. Jobs, dockets, photos, weighbridge tickets, timesheets and invoices you worked on are records of the business you work for, not personal accounts. Your name may stay on them.
- Invoices and tax records are kept for 5 years, as Australian tax law requires. They're kept by the operator company (your employer), not by you.
- Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis within 30 days.
Customers of a skip-bin business
If you're a customer (not a RunDesk user), your details are held by the business you booked with. Contact that business to see, change or delete them.
